Common faults of toilet water tank accessories and their solutions

2024/04/05

1. Failed to Fill the Flush Valve with Water: Verify that the main water pressure is below 0.05 MPA.
Examine the flush valve’s filter mesh for any obstructions caused by debris.

Inspect whether the sealing ring within the valve body has detachment or whether any foreign objects, such as iron fragments or sediment, have entered the system by opening the flush valve cover.
Verify that the float of the discharge valve is not adhered to the tank wall and can ascend and descend without obstruction.
2. Despite the tank being filled, the flush valve continues to allow water to enter:
Determine whether the faucet water pressure is excessively low (below 0.05 MPA) or excessively high (above 0.8 MPA).
Confirm that the float of the flush valve is unobstructed by the tank wall or other components and can move readily up and down.
Examine the flush valve cover to determine whether debris has obstructed or shifted the sealing ring within the valve body.
Verify that the flush valve is not fractured.
3. If the flush lever or button does not engage, verify whether the flush chain is detached or excessively long.
Certify that the button and the discharge valve are not properly aligned.
4. If the flush valve ceases to evacuate immediately after being released, the flush chain may be detached or excessively long.
The delay cup’s leakage hole might be excessively enormous.
It is imperative to verify the proper alignment of the dual-size controls with the flush valve.
5.Minor Leakage from the Toilet: Examine whether the mounting opening for the flush valve on the toilet tank is deformed.
Examine whether the surface of the mounting hole for the flush valve of the commode tank is uneven.
Determine whether the discharge valve mounting is ajar.
When installing the flush valve, tighten the bottom hook screw or locknut. Examine the sealing surface for impurities or irregular substances.
Ensure that the outlet body of the discharge valve is undamaged.
Prevent the water level from cresting the overflow conduit by adjusting it.
Determine whether the discharge chain is inadequate in length.
Ensure that the dual-size button lever is not engaging the discharge valve for an extended period of time.
