1. Replace water inlet valve


Most old-fashioned flush toilets use non-adjustable water inlet valves, which cannot control the amount of water entering the water tank. There is only one water level. If you want to save water, you need to replace it with a water inlet valve with an adjustable float or a regulating pipe to control the amount of water entering the water tank. For example, Weibo Bathroom’s water inlet valves J13011ATK0 and J108BK2 have adjustable floats and adjustment tubes to freely control the amount of water entering the water tank.
2. Replace the flush valve and button
If you don’t want to replace the water inlet valve to control the water inflow, you can only replace the drain valve to control the water tank drainage. Old-fashioned drain valves are generally of the cover-slinging chain type or single-button drainage. There is no distinction between half-drain and full-drain. When going to the toilet, whether to urinate or defecate, all the water in the water tank must be drained, which is a waste of water. If you want to save water, you need to replace it with a double row or a button with double rows, so that a smaller amount of water is used to flush urine. For example, the drain valves P206 and P202 of Weibo Sanitary Ware are equipped with half-row and full-row valves. After replacing the drain valve, you also need to replace the button. One button can only control one drainage mode.
