Toilet Flapper Replacement , Replace Toilet Flapper

Replace old flapper or old fashioned tank ball/bracket/lift wire mechanism.works on flush valves with or without mounting ears

1Turn off water supply and flush toilet to drain water from tank. use a spoonge to remove any water that remains in the bottom of the tank,remove old tank,ball or flapper,liftwire,and bracket,(a screwdriver will be required),and clean flush valve seat with sft clot

2,more sure flush valve seat is completely dry.remove paper from one side of ring compound

3,position exposed seal ring compound around flush valve seat,apply light pressure around seal ring compound to adhere to flush valve seat

4,with paper still on the seal ring compound,position flapper unit to determind proper position prior to actural placement,masure nothing interferes with the opening and closing of the flapper

5,if flush valve seat is slanted the hinged portion of the flapper unit needs to be positioned in the preferred area as illustrated above and not in the area marked no

6,now that permanent position has been determined removed paper from seal ring compound

7,reposition flapper unit and apply pressure to bond flapper unit to seal ring compound.makre sure pressure is aapplied evenly around the entrire unti

8,attach lift chain to flush lever arm if necessary adjust length of chanin by relcoating attachment

clipto a lower point on the chain so that only a little slack remains when in the closed position.
